My first SONY LX900 Impression:

As a fairly devoted TV viewer and absolutely passionate person about the film world, I used to think I had seen it all. I used to think of LCD and HD as cutting-edge technological advancements that enabled the pleasure of enjoying the magic of movies.  The tough of a 3D television set was part of a fantastic wishful thinking attempt, a dream for the distant future,  but certainly not something that will amazingly become commonplace in people’s homes.

However, as most of the people, I was completely underestimating the fast track rhythm of technology until the time I first got acquainted with the SONY LX900.

Why SONY LX900?

I had heard a rumor that during a media conference, Stan Glasgow, Senior executive at Sony Electronics, had assured that this brand new collection of 3D BRAVIA LCD TVs would change the manner in which all of us are kept entertained in our homes, forever. So I was really curious and decided to give it a try. The bottom-line: I was gladly surprised.

All these BRAVIA sets are available in gloss black or matt black are stylish and modern.  I personally picked mine in matt black, but they are all pretty modern and stylish. But let’s talk about the features that really matter. SONY LX900 sets have a special design called “Monolithic Design”. This means the screen is positioned for a six degree upward viewpoint. Therefore, the quality of the watching experience is greatly enhanced.

They also have something called the OptiContrast panel, a technology that provides panels with considerably decreased reflection and refraction, for both external and internal light. You can really tell the difference between a regular TV set and this one. Images are significantly deeper and also feature improved blacks, particularly in areas that are brightly lit.

You should get SONY LX900 if:

The upside of SONY LX900 :

• In contrast to other designs I used to be familiar, such as Samsung LCD 3D, the process of polarization does not happen in the glasses, but on the actual LCD screen! This means significantly better light and images. This is a BIG difference.

• The LX900 bleeding edge specifications enable a lower noise ratio, a boost to overall picture detail, as well as to offer well-defined, vivid, life-like images.
